Tesla Paint Shop Cybertruck Patterns Guide: All 31 Exclusive Designs

The Cybertruck has the largest and most unique pattern library in Tesla's Paint Shop / Colorizer feature. With 31 exclusive patterns not available on any other model, Cybertruck owners have a creative sandbox that goes far beyond a simple color change. This guide walks through every pattern category, how to apply them in the editor, and which combinations look best on the Cybertruck's distinctive angular silhouette.

1. Why the Cybertruck Has Its Own Pattern Library

Tesla designed a dedicated set of Cybertruck patterns to complement the truck's unique stainless-steel aesthetic and large flat panels. The Cybertruck template in our editor uses a different aspect ratio and panel layout than Model 3 or Model Y, so its patterns are optimized specifically for the truck's geometry. When you select the Cybertruck in the vehicle selector, you'll notice the pattern library expands significantly — many patterns are only unlocked on the Cybertruck template. The large, flat hood and side panels are ideal canvases for patterns with intricate detail, since there are no complex curves to distort the design.

2. The Camo Family: 9 Variants

The Camo series is the most extensive pattern family in the Cybertruck library, offering 9 distinct variants: standard Camo, Camo Blue, Camo Brown, Camo Green, Camo Pink, Camo Sand, Camo Snow, Camo Stealth, and Doge Camo. Each variant uses a different color palette applied to the same organic camouflage shape set. Camo Sand and Camo Green work well with the Cybertruck's tactical aesthetic. For a more playful look, Camo Pink and Doge Camo are community favorites. Pair any Camo pattern with the Multiply blend mode in the editor to let the base color show through — this creates a two-tone effect unique to your chosen base color.

3. Gradient Series, Graffiti, and Statement Patterns

The Gradient series includes Gradient Black, Gradient Burn, Gradient Cotton Candy, Gradient Green, Gradient Purple Burn, and Gradient Sunburst — each delivering smooth color transitions that look spectacular on the Cybertruck's wide hood. Use the Overlay blend mode for vivid color saturation or Screen for a lighter, airy effect. The Graffiti patterns (Graffiti Back, Graffiti Green, Graffiti Orange) bring an urban street-art feel, while Rust gives the truck a deliberately weathered industrial look. Woody applies a wood-grain texture for a uniquely unexpected contrast against the steel body. Xray reveals a skeletal internal structure pattern — one of the most technically detailed designs in the library.

4. Cybertruck vs Model 3/Y Templates: Key Differences

The Cybertruck template differs from Model 3 and Model Y in several important ways for digital skin design. First, the Cybertruck's canvas is wider and more rectangular, reflecting its boxy proportions — patterns that look symmetrical on Model 3 may appear stretched on the Cybertruck. Second, the Cybertruck has a unique tailgate region that other models lack — you can design a full-width tailgate graphic that is only visible on Cybertruck. Third, the stainless steel base color is fixed (it cannot be painted), so choose blend modes carefully: Multiply tints the steel while showing its metallic quality, while Normal completely covers it. Always select the correct Cybertruck variant in the vehicle selector to ensure your downloaded PNG file uses the right template dimensions.
